YouTube.com is a great search engine tool- put in the name of the college and what you want to learn about. Colleges have a lot of great information here, but just make sure it it coming directly from a college.


Testing and College Fair Sites

Register for the ACT here and send out ACT scores from here. Remember your log-in and password.


SAT-College Board

Register for the SATs, and access many sources of college-related information including financial aid, college searches, college majors, and more. This is also where you send out your SAT scores and Subject Tests to schools. Remember your login and password.


College Fairs

College fairs are a great resource to research colleges, majors, and more. Learn from the college representatives in the booths and build a rapport with them. They will help answer your questions. College Fairs can also be specific, offering STEM and Art majors additional guidance.


Fairtest

This website will provide a list of test-optional schools. There are over 1,500 colleges and universities that will allow you NOT to send test scores (ACT/SAT). However, there are exceptions to this rule. High school rigor, college choice, and major determine whether or not to send in test scores. We will strategize this together based on the college list.


Financial Aid Resources

FAFSA

Generally opens up every year on October 1st. Always fill out this form! This automatically gives a student a $5,500 loan whether there is a need or not.


CSS Profile
